1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Everyday Parent, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Consent Agreement.

2. Service Description

Everyday Parent provides AI-generated insights for parenting, communication, and behaviour. This service is not medical, psychological, or professional advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to use the platform.

4. AI Disclaimer

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability. You use all outputs at your own risk.

5. No Professional Advice

The platform does not provide therapy, safeguarding advice, or any form of professional guidance. You should seek qualified professionals where necessary.

6. User Responsibility

You are fully responsible for how you use the platform, any decisions made based on outputs, and your child's wellbeing.

7. Recording and Consent

You confirm that you have obtained consent from all individuals being recorded and that you are legally permitted to record. You accept full responsibility for all recordings.

You agree to indemnify Everyday Parent against any claims, disputes, or legal issues arising from recordings.

8. AI Guidance and Safeguarding

The platform provides AI-generated insights intended for general parenting support only. While we aim to provide helpful and relevant guidance, the content must not be relied upon as professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or safeguarding advice. Users remain fully responsible for decisions and actions taken based on the content provided.

This platform is not a safeguarding authority and does not monitor, assess, or intervene in real-time situations. If you believe a child may be at risk of harm, or you have serious concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing, you should seek help from an appropriate qualified professional or emergency/support service. By using this service, you confirm that you have the authority and consent to record and upload relevant interactions.

9. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

10. Payments, Subscriptions, Billing and Fair Usage

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Additional services such as minutes or storage may require extra payment.

Fair usage limits and subscription limits apply to all plans, features, minutes, recordings, storage, uploads, and account access. These limits may include monthly included usage, per-session caps, total account limits, and rate limits intended to protect service reliability and prevent abuse.

If you exceed your plan's applicable fair usage or subscription limits, we may restrict access to certain features, pause processing, require an upgrade or add-on purchase, or delay further usage until the next billing cycle or limit reset.

We may reasonably update fair usage thresholds, subscription limits, and plan entitlements from time to time to reflect changes in the service, costs, security, misuse prevention, or legal requirements.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. No refunds are provided for unused time, unused allowances, or dissatisfaction with AI outputs.

You agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks and to contact info@everydayparent.com first. We reserve the right to suspend accounts and recover costs where chargebacks occur.

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. We do not store full payment details.

11. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

12. Data Loss

We are not responsible for loss of recordings, session data, or stored content.

13. Intellectual Property

All platform content, systems, and technology remain the property of Everyday Parent.

14. User Licence

You grant us a licence to store, process, and analyse your data for the purpose of delivering the service.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Everyday Parent is not liable for any decisions made based on AI outputs, parenting outcomes, behavioural or emotional impact, or any indirect or consequential losses.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the last three months.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Everyday Parent against all claims, losses, damages, and legal costs arising from your use of the platform, your recordings, or any misuse.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for events outside our control.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
